Re-visiting the educational Value of Museums: Connecting to Audiences
Education is a well-developed field in museums, still they have to work with and respond to ever-changing needs and demands from their audiences. Who are they, what are their needs and how can museums better connect to them?
At NEMO’s annual conference such questions were discussed between decision-makers from museums and museum organisations from all over Europe and the EU level. With over 140 participants from 30 countries the conference went beyond the European scope.
Over the course of three days projects from Europe and beyond were presented to the participants in Pilsen, the European Capital of Culture 2015. Furthermore, the conference got practical during the sessions of NEMO's Working Group and the workshops on the last day of the conference.
