NEMO Annual Meetings

Since its foundation in 1992 NEMO organises its annual meetings once a year, to which it invites European museum organisations. It is held in the EU member countries and has since then strengthened the contacts and cooperation between European museums.

 

In 2010 the annual meeting will take place in Copenhagen, Denmark, on 25 September in the Glyptoteket. The one-day meeting will focus on mainly on NEMO issues and activities, including discussions about a new membership structure for the network. There will also be elections for a new chair and board for NEMO, which will be in charge of NEMO's activities from 2011 onwards. Sunday, 26 September, is traditionally reserved for visits of the many museums of Copenhagen.
