Together with We Are Museums and Buzzeum, NEMO offers a Training Course on 15 September 2017 in Paris, France, to discuss the imminent future of museums in 2018. Application is open until 10 July 2017.
What should you expect as a professional next year? is the bold question for this offer.
The Training Course will cast light on 10 big trends to impact museums in 2018. Additionally, it will include a creative workshop on the museum of the future. This should help participants to position their museum within the changing times.
It is a delight to collaborate with the long-time NEMO partner We Are Museums and Buzzeum for this Training Course on 15 September 2017 in Paris, France.
The Training Course is part of NEMO's capacity activities for members to empower the network to help professionalize museum work through exchanging and discussing with colleagues from other countries. The aim of a training course is to build on the capacity of museum organisation staff members and museum professionals through condensed training sessions.
NEMO Training Courses are free of cost. Participants will be reimbursed a lump sum of 500 Euro for travel, accommodation and subsistence costs.
The complete call for applications is available here.
NEMO opens the Training Course to non-NEMO-members this year: NEMO members can appoint members of their organisation to participate in the Training Course.
The application must consist a letter of motivation and expectation (max. 1 page) and a proof of membership at NEMO, as well as the appointment by NEMO members for non-NEMO-members and has to be send to firstname.lastname@example.org by 10 July 2017.
