Deadline Extension: Applications for Heritage in Motions Awards open until 15 January 2016

Professionals from museums, archives or public organisations and producers and makers of apps, films, websites, games and experiences for the cultural heritage sector are invited to apply for the Heritage in Motion Awards 2016.
To showcase successful multimedia cultural heritage projects to the rest of Europe a platform was created through the initiative of Europa Nostra, the European Museum Academy and Europeana: The Heritage in Motion Awards recognise innovative multimedia projects which promote, explore or safeguard Europe's cultural heritage, and open up exciting new routes for audiences into heritage collections.
The Heritage in Motions Awards 2016 will be held in Lesbos, Greece on 19-21 May 2016 during the annual conference of the European Museum Academy.

New developments in multimedia technology play a vital role in making cultural heritage accessible to European citizens. The Heritage in Motion Awards celebrate the most innovative European projects in this field, and are a joint initiative of Europa Nostra and the European Museum Academy and empowered by Europeana.
