From 7-9 December 2017, Milan, Italy, will host the European Culture Forum 2017. NEMO will participate in the event organised by the European Commission that raises the profile of European cultural cooperation and also marks the launch of the European Year of Cultural Heritage 2018.
Next to the official launch of the EYCH 2018, key players of the cultural sector will come together at the event and debate EU culture policy and initiatives.
The first time outside of Brussels, a former bicycle factory in Milan's Tortona neighbourhood, the Superstudio will provide an inspiring and thought-provoking decorum for lively discussions, unexpected meetings and fruitful exchanges.
Can culture help to tackle European and global challenges? Does cultural heritage matter to Europeans? How can culture in cities and regions help to shape more cohesive and inclusive societies? These questions will be the focus of the meeting in which NEMO is actively involved in Milan this December.
