7th ASEMUS General Conference in New Delhi

The 7th General Conference of the Asia-Europe Museum Network (ASEMUS) will be hosted by the National Museum of India and held in New Delhi between 15 and 17 March 2017, it expects to approximately gather 150 museum professionals.
During training workshops, plenary sessions and visits to cultural sites the central themes of the 7th ASEMUS General Conference will be covered:
- Digitisation and digital technologies in museums
- Access to museums, including the role of technologies as well as accessibility for people with disabilities
- The social role of museums and their place in the cultural life of cities and urban regeneration processes
- The promotion of regional heritage in museums
Online registration for the 7th ASEMUS General Conference is open until 15 February 2017 for ASEMUS members and other museum professionals.
Additionally, ASEMUS is able to provide mobility funding for its member museums.
