From 9 March until 11 March NEMO's Secretary General Julia Pagel was in Brussels to meet with the DG Education and Culture and participate in the CAE Member's Forum.

The Members' Forum of Culture Action Europe took place from 9-11 March. Julia Pagel, Vice-President of Culture Action Europe and Secretary General of NEMO, gave a workshop on Intellectual Property Rights, sharing the recommendations to the EU from NEMO's study "Museums and Copyright" published last year. Main findings included a necessary harmonization, technological neutrality and fair copyright exceptions for culture and educational institutions.

On 11 March, Julia Pagel met with the Education and Culture directorate of the Commission to discuss NEMO's contribution to the European Heritage Label (EHL). The label has been designated to 29 sites for the role they have played in the European history and activities that brings the EU together. In the course of the EHL days in April, NEMO will present its network and functioning, and in particular the study on teens in museums that the network has published last year.
