Winners of European Union Prize for Cultural Heritage/Europa Nostra Awards announced

On 5 April the European Commission and Europa Nostra announced the 29 winners from 18 countries selected from 202 applications. From the winners a public choice will be selected by 3 May 2017.

The prize recognises notable achievements in four different categories: conservation, research, dedicated service, and education, training and awareness-raising.

The public can now vote for three projects to aquire the public choice award by 3 May 2017. The winners will be announced during the European Heritage Congress in Turku, Finland on 15 May 2017.
