Together with the German Museums Association, NEMO is hosting a study visit of Armenian museum professionals to Berlin.
When the Museum Education Center in Armenia approached NEMO following NEMO's 24th annual conference in Karlsruhe, Germany, the request was simple: They wanted to learn more about museum work in Germany. Thus, without hesitation, NEMO and the German Museums Association jointly developed a programme for a study visit.
From 3 to 8 July 2017, a group of museum professionals from Armenia is visiting the city of Berlin to learn more about NEMO, the German Museums Association and look into museum education projects in Berlin. Throughout the week workshops, presentations and museum visits will deliver an in-depth look into the diverse spectrum of museum work with a focus on museum education projects for different audience groups.
NEMO is delighted to support the study visit and having build this connection through its annual conference in 2016 between two of the network's members. Julia Pagel, Secretary General of NEMO, will welcome the participants to the study visit and talk about NEMO's work and funding opportunities for museums offered by the EU.
