Europeana Fashion - The new portal is online!

The new look of provides a fresh and intuitive way to explore digital fashion-related collections from many museums and collections. The visual design and browse function were improved, the curated section “themes” added and the Europeana Fashion Tumblr (#eurfashion) is also part of the renewals. The Institute for Museum Research (SPK), Berlin, is member of the project group.


Melting Pro Laboratorio - Diamond: Dialoguing museums for a new cultural democracy: The Handbook

Diamond “Dialoguing Museums for a New Cultural Democracy” is a two-year project co - funded by EU – LLP Grundtvig. Scientific museums and research centres were committed to provide learning opportunities for adults in disadvantaged conditions through ICT, digital storytelling, focussing on the issue of impact measurement and evaluation. The project's final outcome was recently published. "The Handbook" is available for download in English, Italian, Romanian and Spanish.

Fondo Ambiente Italiano (the National Trust for Italy) - Wim Wenders photographic exhibition at Villa Panza in Varese

From January 16th to March 29th 2015 Fondo Ambiente Italiano presents "Wim Wenders. America" - a photographic exhibition by the world-renown film director and photographer Wim Wenders at Villa Panza. The works on display were made in the United States and document environments and landscapes captured by Wenders camera.
