NEMO's First Webinar took place on 6 March 2015, from 9:00-17:00 CET. It was broadcasted from Bologna and can be partially viewed online.

The webinar dealt with the question "Can museums play?" based on the impression that museums can be perceived as solemn, grand and outdated places. It explored the relationships that can be created between museums and play, and subsequently different audiences.

The speakers explored the opportunities, which the connection of play and museums offer. They mainly talked about the added value of play, opportunities for participation and storytelling, communication, education and outreach. Innovative and unconventional ways to access museums and their collections through play were presented and discussed.

The entire sessions will be available soon.
