A Museum Night Out - Dance at the Museum

NEMO invites to a dance at the museum!

Registration to the event is required.

Come and dance the night away with the Network of European Museum Organisations (NEMO) and its partners the German Museums Association, the Finnish Museums Association and the European Museum Academy

A Museum Night Out - Dance at the Museum is organised by NEMO within the framework of the European Year of Cultural Heritage 2018 (EYCH2018). It is part of the series of events organised within the European Cultural Heritage Summit "Sharing Heritage - Sharing Values" from 18-24 June 2018 in Berlin.

Let’s celebrate museums and European cultural heritage together while enjoying performances, music, drinks and the exhibitions at the Museum for Communication Berlin. Join us at this free event to dance together and make new acquaintances!

NEMO, the German Museums Association, the Museum for Communication Berlin, the Finnish Museums Association, the European Museum Academy and the Reinwardt Academy host the event together. They look forward to tell you more about museums and cultural heritage in Europe and about their work and activities.

The Finnish Museums Association will hand out 100 Museum Cards for free during the evening. The Museum Card gives free entrance to over 250 museums all around Finland for one year!

The European Cultural Heritage Summit "Sharing Heritage – Sharing Values” will be the largest and most visible event in Europe within the EYCH2018. More than 1000 participants from Europe, among them high-level policy makers from national and European level, are expected within the week of events, organised by different stakeholders of the European cultural heritage sector. The event “A Museum Night out - Dance at the Museum” takes place within the Summit week and represents the only event organised by the museums sector in Europe.
