With the summer break slowly approaching its end, we have several news to share with you!

Our next webinar in cooperation with NEMECH/MICC will deal with the role of emotions in museums and exhibitions. Lorenzo Greppi will deliver La place des émotions dans les musées: le point de vue du scénographeon 28 September 2016. Registration for our first webinar in French opens on 18 August, save the date!

The programme of NEMO's Annual Conference Money Matters: The Economic Value of Museums from 10-12 November 2016 is taking more shape and we invite you to find out more about our speakers and facilitators!

NEMECH/MICC – Media Integration and Communication Center: Emotional Museums - Second Edition 13-15 October 2016, Florence, Italy

The Second Edition of the MuseiEmotivi workshop about emotions, visitors involvement and participation in museums (in Italian), is organized at Museo Novecento in Florence. The event is addressing museum professionals and curators and aims to explore the theme of visitor engagement and the role of emotions in the museum experience. What is the role of emotions in designing 21st century museums? Museums of the future should be provoking emotions to improve the educational experience and access to the collections, also through the use of new media and immersive technologies that allow to explore the museum's content in a creative, emotional and personalised way.

MUSEUM EDUCATION CENTER: NEMO Executive Board Meeting and Workshop in Yerevan, Armenia

From 12-14 September the NEMO Executive Board meeting will be held in Yerevan, Armenia. The board meeting will be followed by a series of presentations on educational projects and best practices for museum specialists from Armenian museums.

MELTING PRO Laboratorio per la Cultura: The Arts Training Programme - Autumn 2016

The EU funded project ArtS - Skills for the creative economy has designed a vocational training programme that responds to specific missing skills in the creative and cultural sectors' market. The call for applications will be published on the ArtS website by the end of August 2016!
