Participants gained a comprehensive understanding of current challenges and future opportunities in heritage education and professional development.

"How can heritage skills unlock the full potential of European regions?" on 26 April, co-organised with ERRIN, explored the cultural heritage ecosystems of six regions. Over three years, CHARTER gathered insights from regional workshops on education, skills gaps, and sector dynamics, highlighting diverse approaches to sustainability, digitalisation, and the circular economy in cultural heritage.

The session included insights from the report "Who is not a stakeholder in cultural heritage?” and discussed economic and labour market aspects. It concluded with forecasts on education gaps and potential solutions, including non-formal learning methods to enhance professional development.

"Cultural Heritage Education and Training: What are the Curricula and Occupations that will Shape the Future of the Sector?" on 12 June, facilitated by the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna and Fondazione Scuola dei beni e delle attività culturali, explored education and training (E&T) paths for cultural heritage professions in Europe from 2021-2023.
