Despite new multimedia options such as apps and games, short videos remains as the most common visual aid used in museum exhibitions and marketing. Museums in Short accepts projects dealing with documentaries, animations, trailers and visual installations. Three categories, as seen below, will be awarded on 31 August 2018 in Piran, Slovenia.
Promotional: trailers communicating museums, their exhibitions or events.
Exhibits: short video realized for permanent or temporary exhibition.
Storytelling: short narratives in video format. This can include fictional documentaries, interviews, motion graphics, animations and more.
