NEMO Learning Exchanges offer a unique opportunity to get in touch with professionals from museum organisations in Europe.
From 31 January 2017 until 1 February 2017 NEMO Members will have the opportunity to learn more about the work of the Institute for Cultural Heritage of the Region Emilia Romagna (Istituto Beni Culturali (IBC)).
The IBC is one of the most active players in the cultural heritage field in Italy. Over the years, collaboration between schools and museums has been incentivized and supported through the grant scheme "I love Cultural
Heritage". Furthermore, IBC raised the quality of museum provision through the regional Museum Accreditation Scheme.
How the IBC managed these activities and what lies ahead will be discussed from 31 January to 1 February 2017 in Bologna, Italy (tentative programme).
Applicants interested in contemporary art can also arrive prior to the NEMO Learning Exchange to attend Bologna Arte Fiera, the most important modern and contemporary art trade fair in Italy (27-30 January 2017).
NEMO Members are applicable to apply for the Learning Exchange by sending a letter of motivation (1 page) and proof of membership to email@example.com by 31 October 2016.
The complete call for application is available here.
