Business Models, Intellectual Property and the Creative Industries: A Meta-analysis

The Working Paper "Business Models, Intellectual Property and the Creative Industries: A Meta-analysis" shares the conclusions of an analysis of 20 research projects on business models in the Creative Industries.

The focus was on television, film, computer games and publishing. The analysis suggests, business models in the digital era have remained remarkably stable, and the CI have actively lobbied to support existing models, mainly those that are categorised following Baden-Fuller as "product models". The study is not directly linked to museums but shows how creative industries tend to work and enables a better understanding between the two sectors.
