The call aims to identify the European Dimension of heritage sites and heritage work undertaken by the communities in Europe. Submissions with current or past “stories” that the community would like to share and potentially develop into a project to further contribute to their communities are welcomed. Stories will be promoted and the highest scoring dossiers with a grant of up to €10 000.
The call was launched as an activity of the European Year of Cultural Heritage 2018 (EYCH), the successes of which it now aims to build on, and supports the European Framework for Action on Cultural Heritage, adopted in December 2018 to secure the long term impact of the EYCH.
Submissions are welcome on the European Heritage Days portal until 18 April 2019.
