NEMO is one of the project partners of the Horizon 2020 funded project and we are happy to keep contributing to the digital future of museums. Earlier this year, the NEMO Working Group Digitalisation and IPR released a report on the status quo of Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) in European museums. inDICEs continues where the report ends by looking to the future whereas the report presented the current challenges that European museums encounter when digitising their collections.
The aim of the workshops is to understand the needs and concerns of cultural heritage professionals regarding IPR and value chains, future research competencies and change management. The input from the workshops will feed into the development of a new methodology that will make it possible to evaluate the success and effects of digitised collections.

This workshop session aims to understand the challenges and opportunities of the European legal Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) framework for the Digital Transformation of the CHI sector.

Value Chains and Impact in the Cultural Heritage Sector
This session is dedicated to the value chains created on the basis of digital cultural heritage. The discussions will focus on how (re)use of resources through new services, initiatives and products creates impact and added cultural, social and economic value.

About inDICEs
The Horizon 2020 funded project wants to empower Cultural and Creative Industries and policymakers to fully understand the social and economic impact of digitisation and innovative the reuse of cultural assets. inDICEs will result in tools that can be used to measure and advance the impact of cultural heritage in Europe.
