Creative Europe funding opportunity for museums

NEMO has identified a EU funding opportunity relevant for museums. The call for European Cooperation projects is accepting applications until 23 February 2023. The funding action will support projects involving a large diversity of players active in different cultural and creative sectors, to carry out a broad spectrum of activities and initiatives.

Approximately 130 projects will be supported with the aim of fostering cooperation between organisations active in the culture field, to increase the European dimension of creation and circulation of European artistic content as well as to encourage the development, experimentation, dissemination or application of new and innovative practices. This action is also expected to contribute to the implementation of the Commission’s Gender Equality Strategy 2020-2025, the European Green Deal and contribute to the implementation of emerging EU policy initiatives such as the New European Bauhaus.

The maximum EU grant amount is of EUR 1 000 000 per project. The consortium most be composed of minimum 5 entities from 5 different eligible countries. The funding rate is of maximum 70%.
