Creative Europe publishes funding calls relevant for museums

On 8 June 2021, the call for the Creative Europe programme European Cooperation projects was launched by the European Commission. European Cooperation projects supports transnational cooperation projects involving organisations in the cultural and creative sectors from different countries in the European Union and beyond. Deadline to apply: 7 September.

With a budget of over €60 million, this call will support projects involving different kinds of organisations active in different cultural and creative sectors. The focus is on European artistic cooperation and innovation on topics such as audience engagement, social cohesion, digitisation, sustainability and sector-specific challenges in the book, music, architecture and culture heritage sectors. 

Funding is available for 3 types of projects:

  • Small scale cooperation projects (minimum 3 partners from 3 different eligible countries)
  • Medium scale cooperation projects (minimum 5 partners from 5 different eligible countries)
  • Large scale cooperation projects (minimum 10 partners from 10 different eligible countries)
