Culture Action Europe Launches EP Elections Podcast

In the course of its European Parliament elections campaign, Culture Action Europe launches an EP elections podcast series. First up to be interviewed was MEP Helga Trüpel from the Green Party.

In the first EP elections special of the podcast Salon Culture, CAE’s Sophie Dowden discusses current issues, such as the role of culture in enhancing a positive understanding of the EU, with MEP Helga Trüpel. For Ms. Trüpel, culture stands at the centre of the European Union and is essential for the future of Europe, not only “on Sunday speeches but every day of the week”.

Ms. Trüpel also stressed that “we cannot make the European Union and a peaceful life in the European Union without cultural diversity.”
