NEMO shared its findings on museums’ digital response to COVID-19 in an Expert Meeting on Cultural Heritage

On invitation of the European Commission, NEMO gave a presentation on its findings from the survey mapping COVID-19’s impact on the museum sector in an online meeting of the Expert Group on Cultural Heritage on 10 June 2020.

The second meeting of the European Commission’s Expert Group on Cultural Heritage took place from 9-10 June 2020. As a member of the group, NEMO was present throughout the meeting. The meeting focused on the impact of the COVID-19 crisis on the cultural heritage sector (including the post-crisis recovery and adaptation), the Green Deal and risk management for cultural heritage.

NEMO Secretary General Julia Pagel added to the discussion on digital learnings that the pandemic has brought with it and how to regain a physical audience on 10 June.
