Free toolkit for safeguarding intangible cultural heritage together with museums

On 26 February 2020, the concluding symposium of IMP - The Intangible Cultural Heritage and Museums Project took place in Brussels, Belgium. Outcomes of the projects were presented together with a free toolkit that will help museums safeguard intangible cultural heritage. NEMO was an associated partner of the project, which was funded by the Creative Europe programme.

Safeguarding intangible cultural heritage is an opportunity for museums. The toolkit provides museum workers with all the content they may need to safeguard intangible cultural heritage in their organization. The toolkit has three parts:

  1. Introduction: The basics of safeguarding intangible cultural heritage and museums
  2. Tools: Get started with safeguarding intangible cultural heritage in your organization
  3. Inspiration: A deep dive into safeguarding intangible cultural heritage and museums
