International Round Table Talks "Museums in the Era of Crisis: Strong and Vulnerable"

The recent months marked by the COVID-19 pandemic have very clearly demonstrated how cultural institutions, being in unusual circumstances themselves, were able to quickly adapt and respond to the current situation, while remaining committed to the actual needs of the individual. During the round table that took place on 8 July, the representatives of international cultural organizations and leading museum institutions shared their views on the current situation and the necessary measures for museums' support. David Vuillaume, Chair of NEMO’s Executive Board, participated on behalf of NEMO. The round table was organized by ICOM Russia, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation and Russian Union of Museums, under the auspices of UNESCO.
