Join the CHARTER Community to contribute to a strong cultural heritage sector

CHARTER, the European Cultural Heritage Skills Alliance, is offering people active within cultural heritage to connect and contribute to the Erasmus+ project, which aims at creating a sustainable and resilient cultural heritage sector.

Members of the community will be first to receive updates and call-to-actions. In the next 3 years, CHARTER will rely on the community members’ valuable knowledge as active cultural heritage professionals when developing the project and the Alliance.

The CHARTER Community constitutes the first step towards building a future sustainable and resilient cultural heritage skills alliance. External stakeholders may get involved as a ‘Supporter’ or ‘Contributor’. CHARTER Supporters are expected to assist in the project’s dissemination and visibility, endorsing its results and developments within their own network of contacts. CHARTER Contributors will support dissemination as well as share a case study or best-practice document for the project’s research groups. Both Supporters and Contributors will receive logos, banners and a communication-kit.

NEMO is one of 47 project partners working on the CHARTER, the European Cultural Heritage Skills Alliance, which brings together and represents the whole range of the cultural heritage sector in Europe. We strive towards making apparent the value of cultural heritage and creating a resilient and responsive sector.

We work towards creating a lasting, comprehensive strategy that will guarantee Europe has the necessary cultural heritage skills to support sustainable societies and economies.

The Erasmus+ funded project maps the current and future needs of the sector to bridge the gap of skills shortages and mismatches between the educational and occupational fields.

Active cultural heritage professionals are encouraged to keep their knowledge and skills up to date by joining capacity building activities regionally and across Europe.
