Join webinar on digital learning and education in museums

NEMO has been invited by ALL DIGITAL to present its latest report in a webinar on 27 April from 14:00-15:00 CEST. Join to learn how museums efficiently can make use of open access and modern technologies to create digital learning and education activities. 

In the webinar, experts will discuss the report and exchange on museums, Extended Reality, the Metaverse and AI Chatbots. The main author of  Digital learning and education in museums - Innovative approaches and insights Kristina Barekyan has invited three of the experts interviewed for the NEMO report to discuss the opportunities and challenges of working on the cutting edge of technology, digital cultural heritage and museum education. 

John Glancy, Digital Learning Section Head at Zayed National Museum, Marion Carré, Co- founder and President of Ask Mona and Johanna Eiramo, Director of the Digital National Programme of the Finnish National Gallery, will speak at the webinar Digital Learning and Education in Museums: How innovative approaches contribute to the future of digital engagement, which will cover the following topics: 

  • Opportunities and things to keep in mind regarding innovative technologies for the 
    museum sector.
  • Biggest takeaways from projects and initiatives throughout Europe.
  • Top tips for collaborating between technology companies and cultural heritage organisations.

Participation is free of charge but registration is mandatory. The launch webinar of the NEMO report is part of the ALL DIGITAL Weeks and co-hosted by NEMO and Europeana.
