Learn about sustainability from experts at the ENCATC Academy

This graphic announces the 2022 ENCACT Academy on sustainable cultural management. The background is made out of a picture of glass objects, which form an abstract pattern. The image is overlayed with a transparent orange rectangle.

From 27-30 April 2022, the ENCATC Academy on Sustainable Cultural Management takes place in Maastricht, The Netherlands. Parts of the training will be available online. As a partner of the Academy, NEMO members have access to discounted tickets.  Join for interesting lectures, engaging workshops and discussions as well as inspiring study visits.

The ENCATC Academy will address the climate change as a cross cutting issue in the context of external relations and the digital shift. Climate change is a global challenge that needs to be tackled with no more delay. Combining the most recent theory and practice, this first ENCATC Academy on sustainable cultural management aims to equip cultural heritage and museum professionals, practitioners and policy makers with the best methodologies and practices for embedding environmental sustainability across the operations and artistic programming of cultural heritage, museums and performing arts organisations.

Apart from the in-person programme, ENCATC also offers access to the Online Academy Programme right after the event so that you can learn at your own pace with unlimited access to the materials.
