Launched in 2018, the initiative NEMO Political Internships in Museums aims to give a greater understanding of museum work. The objective is to foster museum advocacy and to showcase museums’ social importance to politicians and other stakeholders. The internship lasts for half a day and politicians will either intern by themselves or together with their staff. Each internship is tailored according to the politician’s field and interest.
