NEMO Co-Organises Conference on Cultural Heritage and Digital Environment

On 19 June, the one day conference "Cultural Heritage Communities and Audiences in Today’s Digital Environment Conference" is organised within the framework of the European Cultural Heritage Summit in Berlin, Germany. The Heritage Summit takes place from 18-24 June 2018.

The conference is dedicated to digital technologies and cultural heritage and the topics below be explored.

  • Accessing cultural heritage through digital infrastructures
  • Digital competencies for museum professionals
  • How to make Digital Cultural heritage widely visible: the case of Digital Exhibitions

The conference takes place on Tuesday 19 June 2018 from 09:30 - 16:00 at the Museum for Communication Berlin on Leipziger Straße 16, 10117 Berlin-Mitte. It is co-organised by the Institut für Museumsforschung Staatliche Museen zu Berlin – Preußischer Kulturbesitz (IfM), Istituto Beni Culturali della Regione Emilia-Romagna, Mu.SA Project, Michael Culture Association and Museum für Kommunikation Berlin under the umbrella of the Network of European Museum Organisations, NEMO.
