Europe is making strides in its sustainable transition and museums will play a key role. Earlier this year NEMO was invited to contribute with input on the DG EAC study on greening the Creative Europe programme. The feedback has been considered for the draft final report and three additional recommendation documents for the European Commission, namely a 1) Good environmental practice guide; 2) Creative Europe Programme greening strategy; and 3) Creative Europe Programme monitoring guide. In the series of online workshops, the documents have been discussed and validated.
NEMO is pleased to contribute to this important topic and continue supporting the European museum sector. The study aims to inform and support the European Commission’s effort to mainstream environmental protection, sustainability and climate change objectives and actions into the Creative Europe Programme and the European cultural and creative sector.
