NEMO was represented by NEMO Board Member Sergio Servellón, President of ICOM Belgium Flanders and Director of FeliXart Museum. Servellón presented an overview of NEMO’s work and offered insight into cooperation between museums and heritage sites as well as the digital transition. The meeting gathered stakeholders from European and international organisations.
The meeting was part of a study visit organised by ReInHerit from 8-12 May for 15 cultural heritage professionals and academics. In addition to the meeting at the Committee of the Regions, the participants visited several museums and heritage sites in Brussels.
The Horizon 2020 funded project ReInHerit aims to redefine the future of cultural heritage, including cultural heritage management and digital transition for improved cooperation between museums and heritage sites.
