NEMO in Ghent to prepare NEMO's 25th Annual Conference

NEMO went to Ghent, Belgium, to meet with the hosts of NEMO's Annual Conference from 9-11 November 2017. Pascal Ennaert from the Flemish Art Collection and Sergio Servellon from ICOM Flanders organised a day full of meetings and visits to the different venues in Ghent.

NEMO's Annual Conference will take place in some of Ghent's largest and very prestigious museums. The Stadsmuseum Gent (STAM) will be hosting the first day of the conference, the relatively young museum opened in 2010 is located at a former abbey. On the second day, NEMO will be at the Museum of Fine Arts (MSK) as well as the Museum of Contemporary Art (Stedelijk Museum voor Actuele Kunst - SMAK), which is located right across the corner. Additionally, the social events will take place at different locations throughout the historic city of Ghent.
