NEMO Learning Exchange on Museum Education

11 museum professionals gathered from 28 February – 1 March in Ljubljana and Maribor in Slovenia for a NEMO Learning Exchange on Museum Education, hosted by the Slovenian Museums Association.

During the two day training, participants got to learn how museums can create and foster strong and sustainable ties with the education sector.

The first day in Ljubljana was kicked off with a dance exercise from the “Folk dance seminar for teachers„ at the Slovene Ethnographic Museum. At the National Gallery of Slovenia, the participants had a BrickMe workshop. The workshop is part of the Hear Me programme.The Slovene Ethnographic Museum introduced the participants to their work with schools and children and at the National Liberation Museum Maribor, they got to hear about the Museum for Peace project.
