NEMO members got to join an online training course on audience development

Five NEMO members from four different countries got to take part in the third and final summer school series of ADESTE: FROM AUDIENCE TO PEOPLE - A journey for changemakers, which focused on audience development, changemaking and human centred design tools. The training course took place online on 29 September and 5,6,12,13,20 October 2021.

During each meeting, participating NEMO members had access to a relevant lecture followed by a training session on ADESTE+ methodology and steps, including break out room sessions for more detailed discussion. Participants were divided into dedicated teams in order to deepen their understanding of the varied topics and provide space to address individualized strategies. They were guided in these efforts by facilitators and ADESTS+ representatives.

The series included 6 live online training sessions to explore the basics of the ADESTE+ process with 2 optional online meetings to network with colleagues from around the world. The summer school concluded with a digital space with plenty of materials and resources related to the Summer School topics and a ‘foot in the door’ of the broader ADESTE+ community, which is made up of hundreds of cultural professionals from all over Europe and beyond.

Lastly, participants were invited to take part in the culminative event of the project, their final conference, in November of 2021.

ADESTE+ is a Creative Europe large scale project in which 15 partners from 7 countries have worked closely for the last 3 years with dozens of cultural institutions and hundreds of professionals across Europe to study, develop and test new approaches and tools to inspire organizational change and support professionals in fostering cultural participation.
