NEMO urges people to bring the document of recommendations to members of the European parliament in order to illustrate the importance of museums and culture to them. NEMO finds that museums stand in the very centre of facilitating a shared European identity and that culture is omnipresent in every policy field. NEMO hopes that as many MEPs as possible will read the recommendations and that they will be convinced that culture needs to be a part of every party’s work programme.
