Sixth meeting of the Commission’s Expert Group on Cultural Heritage

On 14 December 2021, NEMO joined the sixth meeting of the European Commission’s Expert Group on Cultural Heritage.

The online meeting gathered other high-profile European cultural heritage organisations who discussed the upcoming European Year of Youth 2022. The year will focus on people aged 13-35 and special attention will be given to you people aged 18-24 since this age group has suffered disproportionally from the Covid-19 pandemic.

The Expert Group also got to listen to a presentation about the European Solidarity Corps/ Discover EU/ Erasmus+ as well as an introduction to the joint effort by UNSESCO  the European Year of Cultural Heritage 2018 (EYCH 2018) Engaging Youth for an Inclusive and Sustainable Europe.
