UNESCO Launches Call for “U40 Empowered: Women entrepreneurs powering the digital creative industries”

The 9th International Fund for Cultural Diversity (IFCD) call for funding and new initiatives was announced on 26 February 2018. The aim of the call is to make the digital creative industry more accessible to young women.

The call “U40 Empowered”, made possible thanks to cultural entrepreneur and philanthropist Sabrina Ho, hopes to unlock opportunities for young women entrepreneurs and make it possible for them to realise their full potential. The call also hopes to make funding, infrastructure, equipment and co-production opportunities more accessible for young women.  Projects from national and international NGOs from developing countries, which are Parties to the 2005 Convention, can apply to the call.

The call for project proposals is open until 16 April 2018.
