Digital storytelling and solidarity

In these turbulent times it's more important than ever to show solidarity with people across borders as well as in our communities. Therefore, we are thrilled to invite to a free NEMO webinar that will inspire you to promote social cohesion by connecting with and empower people and communities at risk of sociocultural exclusion. The MEMEX project will introduce us to working with digital storytelling techniques to develop inclusive audience development strategies and contribute to shaping a more inclusive society.

Register now to join the webinar on 27 April from 12:00-13:00 CEST.

As for solidarity across borders, we were happy to learn that our member ICOM France and Blue Shield France reacted to our call to support Ukrainian museums and museum staff through the Heritage Rescue Emergency Initiative (HERI). Last week, they organised a shipment of 15 tonnes protective material to HERI thanks to generous contributions by 40 French museums. We hope that more museums and cultural heritage organisations will follow their example and support Ukrainian museums and people affected by the war.
