Reopen sustainably

We have received hopeful reports from Iceland that museums are planning to open from 4 May. Austria foresees their reopening to begin on 18 May and Switzerland is planning to follow on 8 June. Great news indeed! Since the corona situation changes every week, NEMO has decided to keep its COVID-19 survey open until 30 April. Please participate again to contribute with any new information and please share the survey.

The coronavirus has turned the world upside down and made it clear how vulnerable we and the planet are. As corona-related security measures are being lifted, we should consider what our new normal should be like. NEMO has partnered up with Museums for Future for #GreenWeek and urges museums to go green this week and in the long-term. Join the action by turning your social media profile green and sharing green objects with the hashtag #MuseumsGoGreen.

Stay positive and stay green,
the NEMO office
