Coping with current and future crises and challenges

Last week we published a statement calling on policymakers to support museums to cope with the energy crisis and help them keep open. NEMO calls for increased operational budgets and funds now and for future spendings as well as for energy-efficient infrastructure investments. Please share this important message and statement widely.

On Thursday 22 September at 11:00 CEST, our next free NEMO Webinar takes place. Join to learn how museums can be sustainability change-makers and become truly sustainable places in a holistic, credible and future-oriented way. Tabea Leukhardt, Collective for future culture, will explain the necessary measures and steps that will make the process successful. Register now.

To cope with the energy crisis and become more sustainable, museums might have to rethink their operations and adopt agile and flexible working. We will explore this further and help museums be more futureproof at the NEMO European Museum Conference from 9-11 October. Registration is open until 30 September and we look forward to welcoming you in Loulé, Portugal.

Happy reading,
