Come and dance with us!

NEMO hopes to see you at the event A Museum Night Out - Dance at the Museum on Tuesday 19 June in Berlin, Germany! NEMO wants to bring the European Year of Cultural Heritage (EYCH 2018) to the people during the European Cultural Heritage Summit, by celebrating cultural heritage and museums with dancing and networking! Registration is required.

On 25 May 15:00 CET, we would like to invite you to a free NEMO Webinar dealing with difficult heritage. Jonathan Eaton and Mirian Bllaci will bring a more serious aspect to the EYCH 2018 celebrations when facilitating the webinar "From mines to mind-maps: A dialogue-based approach to museum planning at Spaç Prison". Register via this form before 22 June.

June is fully packed with events and deadlines in the NEMO calendar. Make sure to apply to the next NEMO International Training Course before 19 June! On 17 September 2018, the House of European History in Brussels, Belgium, will inform participants on how a multilingual narrative can be developed and delivered. NEMO members participate free of charge and are covered by travel grants. Non-members are welcome to participate for a fee of 250 euros. Access more information about the International Training Course here.

NEMO is thrilled to announce that the project NEMO Members Resources Mapping is finalised! The project was executed to map the vast resources that are lying within the network and it reflects NEMO's wish to make the knowledge about museum-related topics, contacts and publications accessible to the members. NEMO has mapped the resources according to it’s main themes, the four museum values in the collection, education, social and economic field.

The latest addition to the library of NEMO Publications has been released! Download NEMO board member Margherita Sani's report The NL Factor - A journey in the educational world of Dutch museums by clicking here to learn what makes Dutch museums so successful when engaging with young people.
