NEMO publishes study on museums and copyright

In light of European and national governments currently reviewing their approach to copyrights, NEMO has published a European-wide study on the issues, questions and problems that museums have with regard to copyright.
The NEMO Working Group on Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) took on the topic to support museums in becoming part of the discussions around a new legislative framework.

With the feedback of the museums in Europe, NEMO has produced recommendations for how copyright in Europe should be shaped to help museums with ensuring the best public access possible to their collections.
Have a look at the study.
