Happy Holidays!

NEMO is wrapping up 2018 in the last newsletter of the year. The European Year of Cultural Heritage 2018 made sure to put culture on the agenda and the lasting legacy of the year can already be witnessed. NEMO made sure to celebrate the year to the fullest, not only through events such as Dance at the Museum, but also by highlighting the topic at its 26th Annual Conference "Museums out of the Box! The crossover impact of museums".

NEMO is proud to have launched the new museum advocacy initiative NEMO Political Internships in Museums as well as to have produced three publications. Learn everything there is to know about European museum awards, get inspired by successful case studies of collaborations between museums and the creative industries and gain insights from the educational world of Dutch Museums.

The list of trainings, initiatives and capacity building activities that NEMO have offered throughout 2018 is long. Museum professionals have inspired each other in NEMO Learning Exchanges, learnt from the best in NEMO International Trainings Courses and the members of the NEMO Working Groups have made great progress within their fields. Regular and free NEMO Webinars have contributed to keep the general public and museum professionals up-to-date on museum related topics. Most Webinars can be accessed on NEMO’s YouTube channel. Perfect for long winter nights!

We wish you happy holidays,
the NEMO office
