Susanne Zils is passionate about the capacity of aesthetics and design to bring about transformative forces for positive social, environmental and economic outcomes. While working as a consultant for museum planning and exhibition design at the State Council of the Non-governmental Museums in Bavaria, Germany, she is taking up the challenge to support the production processes of narrative and educational environments FOR OUR COMMON FUTURE. She benefits from her experience gathered as a designer, trainer and project manager in Germany and on the African continent. Zils holds a diploma in interior architecture and received a Master’s degree in Sustainable Development Cooperation. In her master thesis she focused on exhibitions as relevant facilitators for systems thinking.
At NEMO’s European Museum Conference 2019, Susanne Zils will facilitate the workshop Systems Thinking in Process – Sustainability in Progress together with Alice Anna Klaassen on Saturday 9 November.
