Anders Kühnau

Anders Kühnau is a chairman for the regional county of Central Denmark. He has been politically active since 1998, driven by a strong commitment to social justice and equal access to healthcare. With a background in political science and professional experience in both regional and municipal health sectors, he has developed a deep insight into how the healthcare system functions across all levels.

Over the years, Anders has held key roles including chair of the Health Coordination Committee and the Hospital Committee, where he worked to improve cooperation between hospitals, GPs, and local care services. He also led collective bargaining negotiations in the healthcare sector, advocating for fair conditions and quality care.

In 2006, he co-founded the “Equality in Health” campaign to fight growing health disparities. For Anders, a fair and inclusive healthcare system remains a cornerstone of the welfare state.

At NEMO’s European Museum Conference 2025, Anders Kühnau will be part of opening the conference and welcoming the participants on Monday, 27 October.
