Arno Major is part of the COMMs team at S.M.A.K. (Municipal Museum of Contemporary Art) in Ghent, Belgium, where he works on and/or coordinates different media projects for the museum, from brand and social campaigns to editorials, photography and video work. Always with a keen eye for art direction, identity and collaboration with young talent.
Arno has a background in advertising and visual design, where he created a bunch of fun stuff for both cultural and commercial clients, before joining the museum in 2024.
At NEMO’s European Museum Conference 2025, Arno Major will join the talk “Inside out: Youth wellbeing and representation in cultural institutions” on Monday, 27 October.
