Izabela Luiza Pop

Izabela Luiza Pop is a Lecturer in the Department of Economics and Physics at the Faculty of Sciences, Technical University of Cluj-Napoca, Romania. She also serves as the Coordinator of the Heritage Office at the County Museum of Art “Baia Mare Artistic Centre”. She has over 15 years of experience in museums and 10 years in university teaching and research. Her research focuses on museum management, sustainable development, organizational diagnosis, and management strategies.

Izabela Luiza Pop earned her PhD in Management from Babeș-Bolyai University in 2017 and holds a master’s degree in business administration, as well as a bachelor’s degree in management. She is the author or co-author of three books and twenty-five articles that have been presented at international conferences or published in international journals, including Sustainability, European Journal of Sustainable Development, and Advances in Business-Related Scientific Research Journal. She also serves as a reviewer for Sustainability, Heritage, Applied Sciences, Social Sciences, Administrative Sciences, and other journals.

At NEMO’s European Museum Conference 2024, Izabela Luiza Pop will deliver the workshop "Assessing museum sustainability: Key indicators and practices" on Tuesday 12 November.
