Anna Ehrhardt

Anna Ehrhardt is originally from Germany but has worked in the museums sector in Norway for 13 years, the last three as managing director of the Ryfylkemuseet. The past years she has especially had focus on changes in the organization due to generational turnover, establishing of the Bygningsvernsenter (generating income based on the museums skills in restoring and upkeep of old building and traditional builder crafts) and implementing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

She is advocating the possibilities for sustainable development that can be found in museums knowledge in traditional crafts and about old building techniques.

At NEMO’s European Museum Conference 2022, Anna Ehrhardt will share a professional failure with us in the session “Failing upwards” on Tuesday 11 October.
