Dagmar Ingi

Dagmar Ingi has worked at the Estonian Open Air Museum, the central and the biggest open-air exposition of rural life in Estonia, since 2006. Starting from 2009, she holds the position of Head of the Exposition Department, being in charge of developing the museum exposition as well as organizing public programmes and events at the museum.

Since 2015, she is a board member of the Estonian Museums Association, where she is responsible for educational programmes.

Her recent projects and research topics are related to everyday life in apartment houses in the Estonian countryside in the 1960s-1990s. She is the curator of the newest exhibit building at the Open Air Museum, a Soviet block of flats from 1964. Her recent exhibition project “Multicultural Estonia” introduces different nationalities living in Estonia.

At NEMO’s European Museum Conference 2019, Dagmar Ingi willgreet all of the conference participants welcome on Friday 8 November. The Estonian Museums Association is co-hosting the conference together with the Estonian National Museum.
